Judgeford

A rural locality in the hills east of Pāuatahanui, along State Highway 58. It was settled in the 1850s as the Small Farms Settlement and named in 1883 after settler Alfred Judge. Today it mixes lifestyle blocks, a golf course and BRANZ's research headquarters.

District Plan
Mostly in effect

Porirua's new District Plan rules are now treated as operative, except where they are under appeal. They set what can be built on each property.

What it could mean: some properties may have more development potential than before. Check your property's zone on the council's ePlan, or ask me.

About this data. Listing figures come from my own record of every Judgeford property on Trade Me, checked 11 October 2026. Sales figures are the Judgeford sales I've recorded since 11 September 2026 with a known price. Medians are used so a few very high or low prices don't skew the picture.
